I know most nineteen year olds would probably be still in bed nursing a massive hangover from last night's intense partying to embrace being a year nearer to getting the "key" to their own lives, and than getting up in an hr or two and start getting ready for another night of wild partying, just 'cause they can.

But not this nineteen year old. I went to bed by 2am (after downing another brownie, complete with chocolate sauce and ice cream) and was woken up at 7am by my message tone and still groggy and eyes half shut, read the sweetest message from my other half. Slept through more message alerts than my Mum cames in, gives me a hug (and I think she said smthg, but I slept through it). I didnt reply cause I dont like talking with morning breath, but finally woke up to the smell of pancakes. No doubt about it; Breakfast of the Champions.

My Mum's most irational before leaving the house 'cause she's Absolutely anal about being punctual. No, scratch that. She's absolutely anal about being, At Least, 15 mins early. So, when I yelled from my room to ask her to leave me my Visa behind, I dont think she was thinking straight when she did. You see, she confiscated it citing "Irresponsible spending", but it's safe to say that apart from it being my birthday, she couldnt bear the thought of being a second late.

What's so special bout my birthday this year is that all I've planned to do is Eat and Shop.
Like, really. I just really want to EAT.
My sixteen year old sister says I'm deprived of a wild and out-of-control adolescent ('cause I wasn't picked up by my sister drunk at Orchard) and was probably dumb-founded when I told her I didn't want to get dressed up and go clubbbing but would rather stay at home, and well, Eat.
But to each their own, and I'm excited for tomorrow's meal already.

My brother's really funny. Oh, that boy makes me laugh sometimes.
So, i've been reading... YES. I READ. (And No, smart-asses, not just magazines. Books. Novels. And yes Bryan, I can feel you smirking, WITHOUT PICTURES.)

So anyways, i do this thing where if I come across a word I'm not familiar (OKAY FINE. It happens often, enough) and I'll write it down and go online and check the meaning to it and try and cram the meaning into the goldfish of memory I have. And sometimes when I'm unsure of the pronounciation, I click the microphone button and the automated voice says it, and that's how I plan to expand my vocabulary.
So, I've been going at it for about 3 hours and the whole time, my brother's behind me playing some brain-cell-killing game on his PSIII and sometimes he repeats the word after the automated voice. He often says it in a tone where he's shocked that his sister 16 months his senior does not even know the mere meaning of a word so Simple. So I challenge him to explaining to me the meaning of the word, and 9 out of 10 times he gets the meaning spot on and his explaination to knowing the meaning of the word is that he's heard/seen it on WOW... What.

The first time I heard the word: Gyrating, was on Veronica Mars during the scene where she was in court and testifying against Logan's dad. See Mother, being a closet TV junkie isnt all that of a waste of time; I've learnt a thing or two. And anyways, I thought I was being really smart by asking him what this word meant and he doesn't take his eyes off his game, and continues clicking away profusely, making sure he's killing everything in his sight, sighs (the mother effer sighs!) and says: "Well. Madonna does it alot. Gyrating."

So I chose another word that sounded familiar to me did not know the exact meaning of, Legion. I looked it up online and it gave an example of the French Foreign Legion. "Do you know the French Foreign Legion?" I questioned. "... Not personally, but yes I've heard of them" He answered like I just asked him if I was fat; something Completely obvious and smthg he felt was a world-known fact. "Well. What do they do than?" I pushed on. "What. Most. Militaries. Do." He said, and took his eyes off his precious game and looked at me like I was 4 years old.

Whatever. He probably doesnt know what Gentrification, or Sangfroid or Trepidation means.

To be honest, neither do I.

I'm supposed to be doing some sort of well, Exercise. But i just had soup, so you know, I Cant. Dont wait to be throwing up my liquid dinner over the recently mopped marble floor that awaits my Mother frm her 2-week "Relaxing" skiing trip in Whistler.

So while Mother Dearest has been frolicking in the knee-high powder-fresh snow, I've been slaving away at my Job. YES. I work. Like, real serious 8 hour a day job that pays me minimum wage and contributes to my near non-existent CPF fund.
I've realised that depending on what time I manage to run (or close enough to what most people call Running, anyways) out of my house and make it onto the bus, I get to observe a different -now I dont want to use the word Species, but lack of a better word- Species of working adults. Sometimes, I'm surrounded by skinny bitches in 4-inch stilettoes and super straight hair down their back with their This Season Gucci/Louis Vuitton bag hanging off their arm, and sometimes I'm fighting for seats with Aunties with a bad perm and NTUC/Sheng Siong plastic bags.
Honestly, I prefer the latter. Me being at their weight when they're probably pregnant with twins, surrounded by them skinny bitches (most likely with good-looking boyfriends who also own This Season's Louis Vuitton man-bag) at my weight when i was 12 years old, isnt what I'd call an ego-booster in the morning. The Aunties on the other hand, however pushy when it comes to an empty seat makes me feel a little better.
OKAY. SUE ME. I get an ego boost from middle aged women with heavily traced Singaporean traits. At least I dare admit it.
Other times, it's 20-smthg year old man who are balding Wayyy too early in their life who have no sense of chivalry to offer the just freed up seat to a 19 year old girl who's trying to balance standing and not whacking the poor woman dozing off in front of her with her Motorcycle from a million seasons back.

I've been working for nearly a month now, and I gotta say, I actually Really enjoy what I do. Okay, it's nothing super-fantastic where I do super fun stuff but it Definately beats asking: "Would you like fries with that?" or EVEN WORSE, "Can I get you another size?". That is Hands Down smthg I would Never Ever go back to doing. On your feet the whole entire day and you make 0.05% on what you sell. Give me a chair to sit on and you can keep your 0.05%, thanks.

So I didnt believe it when my Mum and Dad said I'd slowly stop enjoying Chinese New Year as I grow older; I thought it was just them being bitter that it was their pockets getting emptier but it's true! Sadly. This year's record was Pathetic. I'd probably get more from my Mum if I kept attending school. Which reminds me.

Hmmmm. So many of my friends have left to go to Uni/College all over the world and this feels like such a cross-roads. I still haven't applied anywhere, just 'cause I'm embarrassed of my results, and I still don't know where I'll be in 10 months from now. In college I'm hoping. Kinda. I know for a fact my Dad will disown me if I'm not, but with the economy so bad, working for now seems like a good idea.

But in the role of the fillial daughter, I really wouldnt make my Mum spend so much on me when God knows putting me back in Melbourne with friends I haven't seen in more than 2 years and being over the legal age of buying alcohol, I'd probably be on a flight back to Singapore within 2 months and impregnated.
No, but my Mum have asked me to think about the local private schools, and... well, I'm still thinking. Not too fond of the idea but, worse comes to worse- Beggars cant be choosers.

So, the entire CHOO FAM (minus Khor, sadly) went back to Bangkok to celebrate it 'cause my Dad was sick of it being in Singapore every year, or so he says. I know what he's Really thinking: Now I wont need to give annoying 6 year olds I dont even know or not even related to my hard-earned money. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA. I'M KIDDING. TOTALLY KIDDING. My Dad's not stingy that way. Never was, probably never will be. But since we've got a gorgeous home there now, it only made sense to spend quality family time in Bangkok during the festives.
Shopping? Not so much. Eating? ... Well. I'm surprised people haven't gotten up to offer their seats to me 'cause I could probably pass of as a pregnant teenager.

it's so adorable how the entire family is beyond excited for it. it's been a couple of years since we've had a real proper Christmas party together as a family and 2008 being the first year we spend in our new home in Bangkok, the anticipation is

almost every morning, Daddy's gone the extra mile to prepare an amazing lunch for the entire family to make sure we're all enjoying the food and our time together and yeah yeah yeah, i know. it's cliche and eye-rolling worthy, but this whole "Family Bonding" time during this time of the year is so much fun and makes going through the entire year so worthwhile.

it's a good feeling to have Elfie lying to me with her Blankie (Yes, she's 15 and she still has a Blankie. to each their own; don't judge.) over her eyes to block out the Sun. she said she fell asleep only when the Sun came up. i wouldnt have known better; i was long gone even before i hit the sack.

Chai&I arrived in Bangkok last night and was greeted by Elfie&Cafie&AUNTS and it was amazing to see at least half the ChooFAM after a long time!

bye NewYork. we had an amazing time... probably one of the BEST Christmas present i've ever received.
it's really embarrassing to admit it but before leaving for America, i was hoping SO hard to see the cast of Gossip Girl. Whattttt?! i'll admit; i'm a huge ~~loser~~ fan of the show. BUT in my defense, how can anyone Not be? it's Easiest one of the best TV Shows ever made and the cast is drop dead gorgeous. and don't get me started on Chuck.

but knowing my luck, during the time i arrived, they were filming in studios so i didnt see jack.

also blaming My luck, i missed the snowfall. I Know! wtf, right? but unfortunately, i did. my Mum was wayyyy more crushed than i was though. she went on about for half the day til i reminded her i have absolutely NO clue what her problem was since she's going to Whistler anyways. mothers.

i've probably watched more news the seven days i was there in NY than i have my entire life. and i dont even know how i get up Without 5 alarms before eight in the morning and making it down before ten for breakfast. i keep thinking about what it is that gets me up and i've only come to one conclusion; they have really good blueberry muffins down in the breakfast buffet so i'm guessing it's me not wanting to miss out on them. sad, but it's the truth.

apart from the map of New York City in my bag which i pull out ever so discreetly half the time, and being confused with the coins that they use in America, TV show timings absolutely confuses me.
first of all. as terrible/horrible/a total retard when it comes to map reading and a sense of directions; i havent been TOO bad during my trip. and i have figured out that a Dime is 10cents, a Quarter is 25cents (DUH!), and the little copper coins are 1cents, but what is a penny? also, is it just me or can someone tell me if the news are on repeat? 'cause it Really feels like it is! i'll be watching it, and than it'll end and the same thing will come up and i'll be like, "that looks familiar". AND! what the hell does like, 7/8 mean? like, it's on the bottom left hand corner of all the shows. i dont get it! does it mean it's showing at 7 OR 8?!

cause i dont have a loaded boyfriend/fiance or parents that print money, Unfortunately. i emptied almost all of my wallet within the first 2 days i was there and my Mum Absolutely Refused to open up hers for me. do you know what i had to go through to get a 40 out of her? Seriously. (she'll probably fly all the way here to Thailand to stab me if she read this; I'M KIDDING MOTHER! you know me; full of jokes and appreciate-ism :D no, i'm kidding. really! i'm really grateful for the trip; God knows i've waited seven bloody years for it. let's take a trip back down memory lane, shall we? i was 11 and it was between Australia and America. than OSAMA BLOODY BIN LADEN pulled a Sep11 (God bless the souls who were lost that day), and i guess the choice was clear. Oh, my Mum&I went to the Twin Towers site, and it was sad, really. it's not like i knew what it looked like before but right now it's just this fenced up huge piece of empty land. so it makes you feel, Empty? i dont know... it was sad.)
but the Mac&Cheese i had after that made me feel tons better. man, it was Good!

so anyways as i was saying. i dont have a loaded set of parents nor a loaded guy in love with me waiting to marry me so after spending practically all my money, i was told to "sight see and dont you dare cab. take the subway!" so i did as i was told; i took the subway. Several times, actually. it, wasn't as scary as i thought it would be. sure it looked like it did in Blade Trinity, and it's NOWHERE near similar to anything our MRT stations look like with the dirt-stained walls and paper MET card but it wasn't un-endurable. it actually moves quite fast, and within like, 4 mins i've arrived 20 or smthg blocks later.

The Oprah Show is showing on ABC and today's episode is about how scam artists from Nigeria scam Americans online via the online dating scene and those stupid junk email that tells you you've won the lottery or like, a million dollars.
HONESTLY. okay, i guess people who are looking for love online tend to be slightly more vulnerable and when the ass of a scam artist tells you you're all he's got in the world after what, A MONTH? and proposes to you. no duh, you're ecstatic... than he asks you to wire over say, few thousands of dollars because he's in a rut and at the moment, you're the only shining light and of course, what's a few thousands of dollars when you're engaged to the man of your dreams... whom you havent met. and he tells you that he'll fly over to meet you at the airport and of course you put on your prettiest dress and wait for him for SIX BLOODY HRS, than it hits you that you've been scammed. and you go online and find out that your handsome prince charming is actually some random on a modelling site. man, that must suck.
and those Stupid emails! OHMYGOD. if you havent Even taken part in Any lottery, how can you possibly win any money? NOTHING, i repeat, NOTHING is free in this WholeEntireWorld. think about it! i guess, air Is free. but come on, your Mama had to pay for food to live for the 9 months to have given birth to you.

... guess it's rich coming from me since i just paid 5 bucks for THREE roll-ups? i know i know! i feel stupid, but this kid sold it to me claiming it's for his basketball team who's hoping to buy jerseys. awww, doesnt it just warm your heart on a cold winter evening? and another 10 bucks 2 nights ago to some guy passing his self-made CD around hoping to break into the R&B industry by "spreading the word to make it to the top". he even signed his home-burned CD, and i guess if he really does make it big, that CD would be worth Something. but whatever, Kelvin i'm giving you that CD :D

i went into Wendy's today hoping to try my FIRST Wendy's infamous burgers and shakes but right next to the USD$6.99 for the Chicken Club was the 1005 calories that it contained. looking down at my thighs, i turned and left; "Maybe after 10 more blocks" i told myself. i dont normally deprive myself a good burger but i felt a little guilty for downing 4 cupcakes for breakfast yesterday and 2 muffins and a bowl of cereal this morning. 3 blocks down and i buy me a hot dog and before i could stop myself, another one 2 streets down.

every single store i've been into has been playing christmas songs, and the window decorations at the department stores are absolutely gorgeous. it really makes the holiday season tons more exciting.

also absolutely gorgeous is the Victoria Secret store and the Juicy Couture store.

Why oh Why doesnt Singapore bring Victoria Secret in? argh, so frustrating.

my Dad keeps reminding me to go to Rockefeller Center cause he thinks i'll only realise what a Magical Christmas looks like after i witness the ice skating rink and the world's largest Christmas tree, or so i'm told. i saw it and it really didnt seem That big.

i guess he meant at night when it's all litted and gorgeous but i wasnt about to stay out too late cause it gets dark at like, 5 in the evening during Winter and i'm sooo not up for being mugged off of the loot i bought today on the way back to the hotel.

to look at the date of my last real post to be basically 8 weeks ago, and at the mention of prom is seriously SO Weird and like, Sad. just sitting here remembering prom night and the events that took place almost 2 months ago makes me realise how fast time has flew by. Biggest Cliche, I Know! but honestly like about 12 weeks ago, all the entire class could talk about was what the plan after prom was, or how the girls were going to get their hair done or if we were going to book a room at the hotel, and ignoring our math teacher's pleas to stop talking about the Prom. and to think that 12 weeks later, all that's on our minds are our final exams and how well, or badly we do might just change our lives forever.
I never took O Levels, so i've really never understood what people go through when an examination this huge takes place. and despite my Mum's constant reminders of not leaving everything to the last 4 weeks to study, I still end up doing it and now I've got exactly eight days to my first final. but it's not just that, it's just like, the last 2 years of High School has flew by and after this 3 weeks, everyone's going to go their own way and it's like, OVER.
and apart from stressing over Finals, the thought of Uni is so weird. everything about it is so New. applying to them, thinking about the letter of -PLEASEGODLETTHEMACCEPTME- Acceptance, or... Rejection. seriously, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how far down my heart will just drop to be rejected. and like, packing everything up and saying Goodbye again, and getting on a plane and flying off. oh Wow, to think in about several mths time, I'd be in UNI! UNI!!!... and say after about 5 years, i'd be 23! TWENTY THREE! OHMYGOD... THAT'S LIKE A QUARTER OF A CENTURY! almost.

it was honestly the most anticipated night for the graduating students, and i had the BEST time... WELL, i could have had a BEST-EST time if i wasn't bloody sick that night.

I'm talking, Coughing up a Lung the ENTIRE night, and Running to the Bathroom in between performances to Gargle Salt Water, Whispering Across the Table and to complete the wonderful evening was my bottle of Pei Pa Kao next to clutch.

Bryan says I get most of my education from movies and Tv. I wouldnt argue that... I'd be the first to admit that the median of TV and Movies make up a Huge part of my education.
duh, where else would I have learnt that "You can't just ask someone why they're White" or that you just dont stick your eye into a Glory Hole in the Men's washroom. or that having a Pink, Scented resume might not be such a bad idea afterall. or sometimes, an outfit that "Totally Clashes can Totally Go". and that I wouldnt buy a skirt without asking my friends first.

Honestly, I dont know how my Mother does it. Within TWO sentences, she can make me feel so, whatstheword, Stupid.
usually, i'm unfazed when friends or my brother say it to me, cause I ignore it, but God! my Mum has a way.

Mother soon moved on to other important topics. Like Unis and/or not being able to get into any reputable ones and if that's the case, my only choice is to become an air stewerdess.

WOW. My Mother really has a way with words. I am going to take down all of these that she's said to me and one day when I'm 43 with an 18 year old Mini Chantal, and I find out that even after my constant reminders to read the papers and study, she does neither. I'll simply repeat what My mother said to me to her. But who's to know I wont have a genius of a daughter who starts reading the Papers and three, right. I guess the father of my daughter will have to have the Enjoy-Reading-The-Papers gene. or since all kids do is the Exact Opposite, I'll tell her Not to read the Papers, in that case, she actually Might. but does that confuse the kid? I'M KIDIDNG! I totally have amazing maternal skills.

i finally got down to do the ironing and it was like, seeing good ol' friends you havent seen for a good 3 mths and going "There You Areeee!" guess that happens when you avoid doing the ironing for a quarter of a year.

so last night, my Mum finally brought my brother and i to go get Real furniture. see the thing is she reckons buying any furniture now is a bad idea since we're not living in our own house yet and when we end up moving (prob when i'm like, thirty) the current furniture might not go with the new house's theme or whatever, or that i'll get sick of whatever she's bought me and i'll bug her for new furniture. but due to the serious Lack of real furniture in my room, i've got like stuff in Every corner of my room just cluttering around. it's a serious mess to look at and if it's messy for me, it's like a war torn country for my Mum. she came home and said we're going furniture shopping, finally. okay, that's not the point. after purchasing the furniture, my Mum went into this video store and bought a couple of movies and as she's getting ready to pay, the guy behind the counter was like "That will be two thousand three hundred and eighty cents." i wasnt paying much attention, but i heard a thousand and was like "Thousand?!" and the dude's like all chilled, probably because he's used the same joke every time someone bought smthg and had the same reaction "Cents." my brother went "Ha.Ha.Ha" in the annoying way he gets when he's sarcastic and i that just sent me into stiches.
it seemed funnier that that time. whatever.

i was more excited about the house than anything, and Daddy&Aunty really did the most amazing job with just everything frm our bed heads to like, the curtain hook. okay, i know if i was reading someone else's blog and they were talking about their new homes, i'd be like, Shut it with your showing off bitch. ahahhahah, but it's not like that, like our Dad has worked INSANELY hard to buy our family this house and we're all super excited cause it means we will no longer have to stay in rented service apartments where we're always getting calls in the middle of the night to lower our voices...

although it was drizzling, we decided to take the TukTuk, and H started talking about smthg about living life on the edge. uhm, yeah. i'm guessing the creator of that phrase would be used by rock-climbers in uhhh, a rocky country? or deep-sea divers who might end up being eaten by a shark. but yeah, two girls on a TukTuk for an 8-minute ride whilst drizzling is definately Living Life on the Edge.

OHMYGODDDDD. and this one time, Carel&H&I were at MBK and that place is seriously a nuthouse 24/7. it's sooo packed it's like they're giving away free goods. so anyways, we were shoe shopping at this store and i felt smthg brush against my bum, right? and i look around and all i saw was women focusing hard on that pair of shoes the way women usually do. so i just put it off as like my bum being too big so i guess ppl's bags were brushing against it. and it happens again and again and again. and i'm like, Wait a minute... what is going on? but every time i looked, there wasnt a pervy 40 smthg year old balding dude in sight. and i mean, unless one of the women shopping was lesbian and had tendancies of touching other ppl's ass, i really didnt see anyone to be the culprit.
so i decided to make my way out of the whole cluster of women and try on the shoes in a more open space. so there i am trying the shoe on and this like, 5- year old Arabic boy slaps me on the ass and laughs in my shocked/appalled face and runs off. i was standing there gaping at what had just happened before going to H&Carel telling them what had just happened. so they stand there laughing at my misfortune and we start looking for that perverted kid and we see him going around touching other innocent women busying trying their shoes on. after that, i went to pay for the shoes and Carel's like, just standing about a metre or so away from me and she's looking bored out of her mind, when that same perverted Arabic kid goes behind and SMACKS her right in the bum and runs off laughing. Carel's reaction sent H&I into a state where tears starting to fall and out stomachs started to ache from all the serious laughing. Carel wanted to make full use of her being about three times the kid's size and go after him, but damn the kid's father for standing about 3 metres away which didnt allow us to abuse his son.
when we got all our laughing out of our system, we went into the supermarket so H could buy her packet soup or whatever and we decided that if he was still there when we came out, we'd use our paper bags to hit him with it. just to clear things up, we're not children haters or abusers, but this Peverted 5-yr old really deserved it. and what do you know? we walk out and he's still there going around grabbing women's asses, and H walks right next to him and swings her paper bag, containing her loot for the day, hard whamming his perverted little back, and continues right on walking.
LOL, so that was that.

oh and another time, we were shopping and went into this store that was owned by a butch and this pretty and UGH, skinny girl was asking for a discount, so i'm guessing the owner said smthg along the lines of "I'll give you a good price if you let me take a photo of you" cause the owner was snapping away while the girl about to purchase a top at a good price was all about her good side... we walk out of the store and Carel shrieks "Sluttttttt!" and asked if either H or i saw what happened. i did, H didn't and Carel was more than happy to tell H the scene she just witnessed.
Carel also, coughed Loser and Freak at the top of her lungs, at a group of 3 Singaporean around 19/20-yr old boys in JJ Market when one of them proclaimed that the mannequin in front of him had, and i quote, "a nice waist". ummmmmmmmmmm. rightttttt. watching my 11-yr old sister verbally abuse the sad pre-mature man who had a fetish of man-made uh, women's waists sent me into fits of laughhter.

no, Carel isn't all abuse... she's also all for saving the earth.
Aunty brought three of us to this huge-ass supermarket and Aunty wanted to get toilet paper, and she had a specific brand she wanted and always used. Carel sees it and points it out, but Aunty says "No, i want the one where each roll is individually wrapped." Carel shows an appalled face and says, "MUMMY!! YOU'RE KILLING THE ENVIRONMENT!" defending her Earth.

yeah, so the tutor's gone and while i was pouring him a glass of water, i had this flashback of when i was likeeee, 11-ish 12. and i had the MOSTTTT ANNOYING tutor with the worst breath and like, ohmygod he was just super super annoying. so one time he was like, Chantal go get me a drink. how rude right? so i go into the kitchen and thought i'd be nice and pour him a glass of mango juice, except that i didnt realise it was already 5/6 empty, and only this tiny bit of juice filled the glass. and i didnt want to drink it up cause i had my good full cup back in the study already anyways. so i filled the rest of the glass up with water and took a sip of it (with a spoon), and it tasted so diluted that it sorta became an odd glass of water with a strange mango after taste. i thought i'd make it better and put some sugar into the glass and stirred it in. i tasted it again, and it still didnt taste any better. than i thought i'd jut give it to him since he was such an ass anyways. so i bring the glass back down to the study and give it to him, and he takes this big gulp, and give or take 3 seconds later, he makes this Really fugly face of disgust, and i'm laughing on the inside. and i'm like, Do you like it? with the best of a sweet fake smile i could master, and he was like, ... Yeah, thanks. HAHAHHAHAHAH. i dont rmb him coming back for tution after that. whatev, my gain.

my Grandma is once again trimming my dog's fur with my fabric scissors with the jagged end, and is reminding me for the 5th time in the last 10 mins to buy back another one frm China, except get the one with the straight blade, cause apparantly it's good since it doesnt rust. she tells the dog she's London-trained and that she shld really stop struggling. i laugh.

i was going through some magazine, and i lovelovelovelove the Quote Page and reading stupid things celebrities says, or in a rare instant, "quote-able". i'm certainly wayyyy too young to be living when Sophia Loren was thought to be a Sex Goddess to all men around the world, but it's totally understandable after seeing her pictures on Google. in the magazine, she was quoted saying: "Everything you see, I owe to spaghetti".

so i'm sitting here trying to multi-task blogging and completing my Bio essay. i have to admit this whole Multi-tasking thing is one of my biggest flaws ... i rmb being laughed in the face by Bernie when i had to stop walking every 2 steps to take sips of Milo.
ohmygosh, i'm not the most precautious person, but i also really wouldnt describe myself as being a Klutz. but did i embarrass myself in front of the entire office at school today. so i walk out of the washroom, and i see the Cleaner Uncle mopping the floor and in the effort to be considerate, i jumped over the newly mopped area, hoping to land on both feet like every normal person. but instead, i find myself in mid air for aboout 30 seconds and landing on my ass (with enough cushion, thank God) and sliding right into a desk. it was like, ZXSYDBGYGBYGNGHSYBGFCGBXZXPOP BAM! and i think i was like, sitting in shock for about 10 seconds before laughing uncontrollably at myself. after the laughing fit, i realised the entire office was shaken by the noise i made and turned to look at the pathetic girl who had just made a fool out of herself, and i'm sure the teachers werent pleased that as several international families came in to register, a klutz of a student makes a din for an impression.
ohmygod, seriously. SO EMBARRASSING.

our teacher told our class that she would be giving us smthg similar to a questionaire where we would tick our good points and state how or where we've taken part in any school activites. i, for one, got excited over this; stating my good points is smthg i've perfected over the years. kidding. or not. we had several modest students raising their doubts, and in the midst of it all, Amanda states "This is not the time to be modest." and i second that bad. i've even given it enough thought and have decided that if i wish to make less a fool of myself, instead of signing up for any sort of sports during The Sports and Games Day, i would sign up for Chess. WHY IN THE WORLD, you ask. well, simply because it's possibly the Most Boring game ever invented, so i highly doubt there would be an audience watching your every move and i'd imagine whoever my opponent would be, be matured enough to not boast to the entire school he beat a graduating student. unless he wishes to be beaten and taunted.

going back to what i normally am Not. allergic. yeah, my brother's the allergy- prone one in the family. as a kid, he suffered frm really serious eczeme and was basically covered in calamine lotion from head to toe 24 hours a day, every single day. a thousand and one food allergies to you know, crocodile soup and preserved oysters. and having super sensitive skin to cat's fur. i, on the other hand, was pretty much immune to all of this... unsure about either crocodile soup nor preserved oysters but we'll just keep it that way. HOWEVER, the impossible happens and i dont know what it was that i had on friday night (could have been one of two plates of chicken rice, or the chee kueh, or the tasting of Nel's curry or half an entire watermelon filled with canned peaches and logans or the pork stock i had during our 2am snack). regardless of what it was, i woke up on Saturday morning feeling in tip- top shape and i head to the bathroom to wash up and find myself staring at my reflection for about a whole minute before blinking as the current state of my face hits me. honestly, i looked like a Botched Facelift. it was WACK! my lips were full Jay Z vibes and it looked like i injected my cheeks with about 20 ounces of saline, jut for kicks. i didnt know what to do and being in complete and utter shock, i started slapping my face hoping it'd shrink back to what it was. it started hurting so i stopped. i saw a friend after school today and she said it looked like i put on just about 5kg just on my face and neck over the weekend. Wonderful.

it's hasnt even been a week since school started, and it feels like we barely got a break. whatever, it's so retarded.
one thing that quite excited me was that Subway was of walking distance and cookies were available to me any damn time of the day. but i always do this thing that sickens and disgusts me. like, them cookies were so amazingly good til i had to binge on them and have too much that now the sight makes my stomach churn.

at last count, i think i've downed about 5 dozens of Subway cookies in the last 3 weeks. it got really bad one time during the last 3 weeks Holly had to keep the cookie and ration it to me slowly. hahahaha, but seriously, they're sooooo good it's hard to keep away frm them. and even when you do Try to keep away frm them, a Subway pops up right in front of you! how are you supposed to walk right past it without getting at least, three. right?

moving away from food... hmmmm. SO. my Mum got back home yesterday, and since it felt like, FOREVER since i last saw her i thought i might do smthg nice for her when she got back.

[[= however. when we wanted to chum down the muffins, i scraped all of the icing off cause, honey the icing may be pretty but damn did they shoot like a million sugary shooting things straight into my nerves.

it's a known fact- Everyone Hates Being Wrong. right? i mean, who enjoys being proven wrong? No One. it's like, Shut Downnnn! in your face. no one likes that. and even when you Know you're wrong, you pull every trick in the book to try and push the blame to someone else or a thousand and one lame excuses to sound right. dont worry about it, it's Human Nature. but i must say i was pretty effin' glad to be wrong last night when i was SOSOSO Sure i lost my mobile. you see, i have this really bad habit of putting my mobile in the front pocket of my bag and the pocket is well, rather shallow. What? it's easily accessible if it rings. so i just figured it must have fell out when we were walking or smthg. and anyways, so we were getting a drink in town and my Mum asked me to check the time, and i was Sure... Shitttt!... Mummy? i uh, think i lost my phone. LET ME JUST SAY THIS. the effort put into that morning's little Welcome Home Mummy trick really did it. i could see my Mum's reaction change from, Oh I'm going to kill her to Breathe breathe breathe real quick. so i had to go through the ringing the cab company and end up waiting on the line for like, an hour before someone answers and report a lost item that you're probably never going to get back and than, enduring sarcastic comments about my responsibility and finished off by suspending the line in case whoever picks it up decides to ring Alaska or Ukriane just for kicks. honestly, that might not be my first worry if i lose my mobile. i blame it on today's dependance on modern technology that almost everything i want to remind myself with is inside my mobile and no, i didnt make a hard copy of all my contacts. i mean it's not like i have hardcore porn in there or naked pictures of myself but there obviously are some personal things in one's phone that might be utterly embarrassing if someone was to find and go through it. like, El making me sing to Maria back in Bangkok just to name one. so by dinner, it's like we totally forgot i pulled another stunt to prove my irresponsibility and my Mum's relaxed and cool about it all except she stated very clearly she will Not be getting me another mobile and we head home and i go into my room and WHAT DO YOU KNOW? sitting smack right by my pillow is my phone! and it was Awesome saying i was wrong. Awesome.

yeah, so i was on the topic of the Top 25 Fashion Faux Pas according to VH1 and smthg else just hit me. again, i witnessed it on public transport. i tell you, catching the bus or the train is really another whole ball game. just look around and i guarantee you you'll witness smthg eyebrow raising, utterful disgusting or downright hilarious. one of the many pieces of clothing that made VH1's list is the Muscle Tee. i bet you anything i'm a Hundred Percent positive about 99.99% of the male population has commited that crime, and some are Still commiting. but to me, it really depends on who's wearing it cause like, Benjamin McKenzie was fine in his good ol' wifebeater on The OC, but than you get the 400 pound piece of lard of a useless alcoholic husband who always plays the minor roles on movies and tv shows Also in the same wifebeater and you're like, Please. and try not to barf. so anyways, i was on the bus and this dude comes on with his tight black most-probably-made-of-Latex muscle tee and also, very fitted pair of jeans which he belted snugly around his well, man hips. it wasn't like he didnt have muscles to pull of that muscle tee, but i think it might have been an overdose of flesh slash bulge here and there that when he walked down the bus, it seemed like all the commuters moved aside and created a walkway for him in case he got mad and backhanded any one of them. thankfully, i got on on one of the earlier stops and had a seat. but i have to say, for the rest of the ride, my attention was well captured.

this is meant to belong to the last post, but thanks to the Dory of a memory i have, it's sitting here a week or so too late. so, Nelf&Kel&El&I saw Sex and The City and it was SOOOOOOOO good! i mean, the storyline isnt anything to get excited over, but seriously who'd watch it for the storyline. maybe just to see what happens between Big and Carrie, but other than that, who cares. as expected, the clothes were Beyond Amazingggg. like, it Really was insane. Nelf was sooo cute and excited and like, 10 mins into the movie, she was all "I'm SO going to get the DVD.", and was told to Just Relax, by El. ahahahahhahaa.

VH1 always broadcasts shows where they countdown like Top 20 richest entertainer or like, Top 10 What To and What Not To at Your Wedding and basically every list you could ever imagine. you imagine it, VH1 has done it! and once, i watched an episode where they had a countdown of like, Fashion Worst Faux Pas or smthg along that line. and, i'm pretty sure VPL made Number One, but another one caught my eye.
so, i was on the LRT a few months ago and i saw the MOST amazing pair of eyelashes. No Joke. like, it was Stunning. i honestly would pay a million bucks for eyelashes like that. and they belonged to this gorgeous little boy right? and i'm just staring at his lashes and slowly moved my view from his eyes to the rest of his face, and from there the view zoomed out and instantly, i was caught off guard by his hair. poor little boy had a mullet. A MULLET. okay, i know a Mullet is supposed to mean: Business in the front, and Party at the back or whatever, and yes possibly every "fashionable" person in the 80s sported a Mullet back in the day. but seriously, the kid must have been around 2 or 3, so he wouldnt have known better, but his parents are so evil for re-living the 80s through their 3 year old son. trust me, when he grows up and looks at baby photos, he'll hate his parents for putting him through smthg so awful. and, I know that from Experience.
today, my Grandma trims both our dogs fur with my fabric scissors, which btw, is So Totally wrong. but what are you going to do? let's go back aboutttt, 15- 16 years ago. my Grandma was probably trimming both my hair and the dogs fur with the same scissors. hhahahaha, God i hope not. i swear! it was torture having to go through all the photos when i was aged 3 or 4 cause my bangs were honestly, about 3 inches above my eyebrows. to this date, i Still blame my Grandma for cutting my hair. seriously. how much can it cost to take a 3 year old kid to the hairdressers for a trim? i vow to NEVER EVER put my future child the same torture. maybe it wasnt so much the cost, but the "hassle". WHATEVER.

i'm more than positive that majority of people would have gone through at least half a dozen different ambitions by the time they've turned 18 unless all that's in their life is sitting in front of the computer screen and living in denial that they're able to make a living out of playing WOW or Dota or whatever.

i think the Very first thing i wanted to be was a primary school teacher. BLAH, what was i thinking? come 3rd Jan and i'll be faced with crying 7 year olds and their ohsoprotective parents peering through the window panes making sure their babies are enjoying their first day of class. for the record, my Mum never did peer through the window panes, nor did i cry on my first second or third day of school. holly can so vouch for me.
i mean, i'm all for children. i lovelovelovelove them, i just dont like bawling whiny ones.
i'm not quite sure what my second ambition was but i'm pretty sure wanting to be an actress was Top Three. What? everyone has wanted to be famous at least, Once in their life. let's just say that was a bust and we'll just blame it on an 8 year old's naivety.
and i remember so clearly what i wanted to be after that: A Housewife. i think i was around like, just before turning 9 or smthg. and i rmb it was Nelf&Chai&El&I at the market with Aunty and as usual, Nel&El&I had our little handbags and matching outfits and we were looking at fruits, and i decided there and then that i wanted to be a housewife. i didnt think of my future husband's monetary status or whatever; not that it matters in a big way of anything now. i just rmbed i wanted to like, do grocery and clean the house and cook. yeah, i have absolutely no idea what got into my head, but now that i'm 18 and fully able to digest what being a housewife does and everything else, i don't think that ambition will work out so well. unless, i wont have to cook or clean. grocery shopping in the supermarket in still do-able, but i'm pretty sure mother-in-laws come into the picture when grocery shopping in the wet market is needed.
and as pathetic as this sounds i'll admit it, pulling an Anna Nicole minus the sad drug overdose death might have been an idea. hmmmm, marrying an old dude and wait for him to peace out and wait in line for the inheritance money. to set the record straight, i grew out of that idea in a jiff after hearing how much of a court battle she had to go through with her husband's estranged son. yeah, no estranged step children for me.

i Have turned 18, and i'm pretty much decided on what i want to do for the better part of my life and entering university is not a choice but a requirement, and being able to score an average of five Cs is the minimal score i can get, and seeing how i scored an E in math Really doesnt help me make my dream come true. thank you God for the re-test.

so anyways, i re-watched both Season 1 and 2 of Veronica Mars and went on to catch Season 3, and it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR good! which reminds me of this phase i went through where being a PI fascinated me so much. okay i know Veronica Mars is just a show and everything is planned and thought out by the writers of the show and Kristen Bell just has to act it out, but i cant get over the fact of how smart Veronica Mars is. i suppose a certain amount of stealth-lity is required for such a job, and i'm sad to say that smthg as simple as hand and eye co-ordination is smthg i havent well, perfected.

whatever, it'll still work as my fantasy job... taking over the desire to be famous.

i promised my Mum that i'd dedicate 5 hours each day to studying. earlier during the year, i also promised my Grandma that i would clean my room and put everything that i dont use into cardboard boxes so when my Mum finally gets down to picking a fine ol' home for us to move into, i'll be up and ready to get moving. thinking back, i made about close to a million promises to myself, my Grandma and my Mum about what i'd do during the upcoming June holidays. and now, it's almost mid-June and my room looks like a tornado went through it and i still havent done jack about it. i mean, i feel bad but like, it's SOOOO hard getting down to doing smthg like cleaning my room, because trust me, once i start i'd take like Forever to get it done. i'll go through everything and Aw at everything i thought i lost and old photos. today's Wed... hmmm, the weekend sounds perfect for cleaning up. and, studying can resume next week. meanwhile, rotting in front of the computer watching the remainder of Gossip Girl i skipped out on sounds pretty damn swell.

so the Sichuan earthquake has been really devastating news, and in the effort to raise some money, the Student Councillors decided that they'd put up a skit on the Parable of the Good Samaritan, and have several of us sing to BlackEyedPeas' Where Is The Love. problem is, about three- quarters of that song is rapped by Will.I.Am. rap. reading with a rhythm right? shouldnt be so hard for most people. the thing is, i'm not most ppl. i have absolutely no sense of rhythm. "Fine, sing for the chorus", i was told. ahahahhahahahahah, Biggest Joke Ever. when i sing, Kelvin has been quoted saying: He'd rather jump down 6 floors than continue listening to me sing. when i say I Can't Sing, i mean: I.CANNOT.SING. like, i dont mean: I'm too shy to let others hear my voice, i literally mean, I CANT SING. because i am basically, tone- deaf.

thinking back, growing up in two differerent households made my childhood a whole lot more interesting. but, having two sets of parents always seemed to confuse peers. like, "why so many?" okay, now that bit confused me. many? ahhah, when did a couple become many. 2 sets of parents; father&step mum, mother&step dad. how hard it that to understand?
i think the best part of having two sets of parents is when one set denies you of anything, you always have the other set to go to. hahaha. and in the latter, including how the former refused you and how you were misunderstood and how you really need that one thing usually helps. i think divorced parents have this thing where it's like, competition on who's the better parent and i think they feel bad that like, just cause the marriage didnt work out, the kids "suffer" and they do everything they can just cause they're in guilt. whatev, i'm not complaining.
chinese new year and festive seasons are also pretty amazing, cause you'll now have an extra set of family to go to collect well, festive givings ((=
so i think due to my parents' personalities, i've come to learn along the years to go to which parent for what. Without Fail, when it comes to education and grades, my Mum's the freakin' grinch, and my Dad's motto has always been "That's okay, as long as you tried your best." hahahaha//

mid- years are going on at the moment, and seriously, this is the WORSTWORSTWORSTWORSTWORST time of my life. since day one of year 12, we've been brainwashed that if we fail mid-years, we're basically going to fail our entire year because school assessment is worth like, 60% or 40% or smthg of our entire grade and whatever we score for mid-years will just sit for the rest of the year unless a miracle happens and Chantal passes math. thus, Major Stress. like, it's so stressful i cant find the joke in it. usually, it's all fun and games and it doesnt hit me til i'm sitting there after getting my results, and it's like, "Opps, guess i should have studied harder. oh well, there's always next time." but now it's really bad, cause next time would mean Prelims and if i'm sitting there with my unheard of grades thinking there's always next time, i would probably flunk my TEEs and find myself kicked out of home. at least, that's the worst that could happen right.

anyway, the point is i shared my stress with my Mum, in hope of some sympathy. should have known better; My Mum? Not a Big Believer of Sympathy.
me: mummyyyyyyyyyy. i just had my math exam. mummy, it was so so so so so baddddd, okay! like it was soooo super hard. Everyone was complaining how hard it was.

Blahhhhh. i continued whining on the phone to her til she belived i was upset that the math paper went Horribly horribly wrong.
my Dad on the other hand rang me after the paper and i was all dejected and upset. LMAO, most retarded thing everrrrr, cause seriously, i've never really cared much for math. it's a subject i started failing since 13 and from what i see, there really is no turning back.
after a couple of questions on how the paper went, my Dad could tell i wasnt in much of a mood for talking, so he changed topics.

SERIOUSLY though. an Ulcer! the only times i get ulcers is when i stupidly bite my lip at the same spot while eating one too many times. like, whenever i hear ppl say they get ulcers from stress, i'm like "yeah, whatever. what nonsense!" BUT IT'S ALL TRUE. those ugly-ass things actually form when you're under stress. i dont understand why we're punished Even more when we're already having a hard time. shouldnt our body be smarter and like, reward us for working so hard and like help us go up a cup size or like, speed up our metabolism so we lose a couple of kg, or Something. not continue to punish us with bloody ulcers and break-outs.

okay, so going back to how pre-teen days was Fight with Mother Everyday Day, it really was. it was like a schedule i followed religiously. okay, Mum's back from work- Go start a fight. hahaha, i'd say it's the hormones and how all 13 year olds are brats. than, one day a movie changed it all; we watched Freaky Friday on tv, and i think Jamie Lee Curtis in that movie was like Oprah to my mum on how to deal with a brat for a daughter. i swear, after that movie, my mum was BEYONDDDDDD nice and i really couldnt pick an agument with her on anything. really, that movie does wonders.

it's been almost a year and a half since i had a weighing machine sitting there with its horrible scales for eyes staring right back at me in the bathroom. last time i saw it, i kicked it under the sink and hoped it'd start rusting.
i really envy girls who like, skip a couple of meals and, Wham Bam, they lose like, 5 kilos. man, i can skip all 3 meals for a month and end up with the same fat ass and, go back to training- bra stage. or at least that's what i think would happen. never tried; don't think i ever would.
it just All comes down to me Loving food wayyyy too much. and hating exercise even more. haha.
shoot me for being lazy. whatev.

it's funny though; how body size can be a fad. first we had Marilyn Monroe and co. who made boobs&thighs sexy, than we had Twiggy who was all bones and eyeliner. followed by the reign of TyraBanks and rest of Supermodels who had well, all of it. it's been a long long time since Kate Moss made herself to be a household name for being the second coming of Twiggy, with the addition of alot more trashy partying and cocaine use.

what's a girl to do when all the media ever seems to be doing is brainwashing you ever so subtly that unless you're a size 4 you wont ever be happy.

honestly, i dont think there's anything wrong with trying to fit in physically, but i just belive that as long as you know yourself best and stick to your own beliefs, you're good to go. and seriously, whatever makes you happy, right?

like, i REALLY Do Not understand how the hair the grows every bloody 3 days on my legs is At All useful. i mean, i'd understand if i lived in the dessert and needed to reduce water loss, but i DONTTTTTT. i live in sunny Singapore where i can buy a bottle of water at every corner i turn and where plants are grown at every empty space.
i'm speaking for majority of the female population who has to endure waxing sessions every two weeks, which not only hurts like a biitch, but also costs as much as a dress. okay fair enough, shaving is another more affordable option, but seriously. who wants to end up like a cactus if we skip a shaving session, right? not me.
WHATEVER IT IS, how is body hair at all necessary? God created Amazing things like, our eyes for us to see, our nose for us to breathe and our mouth to EAT :D:D:D. and make out. and, basically every other part of our body is much much needed.
BUT. underarm hair? what is the point in that? orrrrr, arm hair? or knuckle hair? or toe hair?

the first thing that comes to a person's mind when the thought of being thrown onto a deserted island is that they'll become helpless. i could actually think of a few prettyyy fun things to do on a deserted island. but if you're talking about becoming helpless; i think i'm pretty much disabled in a kitchen. all i ever do in mine, is to pour myself a cup of water or to take a look into my very sad fridge.
but what's a girl to do when you're starving and can't leave the house?
the only ready to eat food available was cereal, without milk and bread and some nutella and kaya. i was going to have some toast when i decided, I Would Cook.
so i prepared the pot of water, opened the packet of instant noodles and all i needed to do was boil the water. but i guess, just for kicks, the universe decided that the lighter stick- thing would run out of gas and no flame would appear. i was about to lose all hope and go back to toast and nutella, when modern tehnology is once again a saving grace.
who needs gas to cook noodles when you've got a microwave? 3 mins later, my noodles were good to go, and i didnt have stupid pots to wash.

told you my fridge was sad, we don't even have eggs.

you know how when you watch pageants or competitions there's always a segment where the contestants are asked what their Special Talent is and will be asked to perform it. i was thinking about it, and i realised, i don't really have a special talent.
how sad is it? like, you see these talented biitches performing their little dance routine with so much passion, or singing their little hearts out, or playing some sort of exotic instrument. in other categories, there's the Really special kind of special talents where a few can scoff down 10 cheeseburgers within 3 minutes or the kind that can break 15kg of brick with their head. so no, i dont fall under that category either.
i'm more than sure my parents regret paying for all those ballet & organ & artandcraft & singing & gymnastic & dancing & IT lessons, which resulted in well, nothing.

i really shld never ever place bets base on "facts" i remember. afterall, my memory is so bad it makes Dory look like Einstein. i told my Dad i was going to buy 5 dozens of Dunkin Donuts frm the airport before leaving HongKong.

No. not like in a weird stalker way... like, if i find smthg i like, i'd only be interested in that one thing. i rmb, the very first obsession was like those colourful plastic bangles. i would never go anywhere without them on and probably looked like the biggest 2 year old fool. than, it was sticker earrings. after that, it was the Spice Girls. than came Hello Kitty everything; frm watches to showercaps. followed by Britney Spears. this one was pretty bad; Nel&I would watch her videos and re-enact them out with hairbrushes and have her face plastered around the 4 corners of the wall. and okay, i'm A HUNDRED PERCENT POSITIVE the next one was basically the entire asian community of the world... F4. than i grew out of them in a jiff when i moved to Melbourne, and i think the next thing was Pink. like i would travel with 7 different pink bags claiming they were of different shades of Pink and none of my clothes could match if i didnt have them all with me. after that, it was the Paris Hilton&Nicole Richie era. like, it was retarded; i even bought magazine clippings off eBay to add to my collection of Paris&Nicole scrapbook. how sad was that. and my Simple Life dvd was watched to the extent that it had glitches.
i'll just fast forward to this year. it started off with taiwanese dramas, followed by chinese songs, than it became local. HAHAHA. i thought Michelle Chia was the prettiest person, like on her show on Channel 8, than when the current 9 o'clock show started airing, i thought Fiona Xie was like, the prettiest person ever and be glued to my laptop screen for the 45 mins after downloading the newest episode off MOBTV. and dragged my Grandma to watch her horror film. than because of the trip to HongKong, my Grandma bought a couple of DVDs and one of them was Princess Hours<3333, and i think i'm like obsessed with Korean drama now. it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good, okay! i lovelovelovelovelove it. but i dont understand the ending. like, why did she move to Macau without her husband? or, since her husband wasn't the Emporer anymore, why didn't he just live there with her?

it's 12.30 on a Monday afternoon and i'm sitting on our couch blogging. i rmb last year... i proclaimed Monday to still be part of weekend and took the day off every second week. but now, i'm a reformed school skipper. hahahh, sounds like mud skipper; that's not the point. the point is that, i feel bad for not being in school, despite being sick. damn my consicience and bloody exams in a week's.
my brother is a little different. he's sitting in front of his computer playing the expansion of the Sims feeling great. i think. he stated that he was going to stay up all night playing his game around 10pm and we ignored him. but, he actually stayed up all night playing the Sims. what about school, you ask. well, i found him feeling ill in his uniform lying on his bed at 8.30am when he really shld have been lining up for assembly.
one word, FOOL.

Por&I went to Balestier last night, hahahhaaha// "RANDOM". and were like waiting for the bus, and this animal of a man started giving me really weird looks while i was the phone to my brother, who was blabbering on about his newly bought expansions. so i ignore him. than as my Grandma left my side for a second to go throw smthg in the bin, he like comes up to be and ask "Are you free?" "uh, NO?!" and i continue talking to my brother who's now explaining how he bought the one with clothes choices frm HNM and if i were jealous. Por sees what's happening and yells "IGNORE HIM" and flings her hand up at him. that guy must be some fucking illegal immigrant who can't read body language and starts smiling seedily at my Grandma. so i say really loudly, "Chai, i'll call you back. i need to ring the police." but the idiot stands there, smiling. so i start dialling 999 and like some bus arrives, and the animal and his animal-like friends walk to the bus's exit door and wait like animals that they are. they finally realise they're at the wrong door and move to the first door. stupid sad idiots couldnt even walk straight.
all i wanted to do was kick in the balls so hard, he wouldnt ever be able to reproduce again but i was in a public place, so i played being Civil.

my Grandma threw the Civil Book out of her life a long long time ago, and was all about uh, action.

after they left, Por went down memory lane to prove how nobody scares her and how even while globe-trotting with my Grand-dad in her younger days. She started off with a story of her time in Amsterdam with my Grand-dad, and that she was able to bring my Grand-dad back to the hotel in a foreign country after he's lost all consciousness after having probably more than just beer in his well, beer. and how the streets were filled with junkies and like, the Dutch mafia ruled the streets or smthg.
she moved frm story to story and to conclude her string of stories, she said "Ta, there's no need to be civil to ppl like that. all you need is give them a kick real hard."

earlier today, the tv was switched on to TVBJ, cause being the filial granddaughter that i am, i dont fight to change the channel when my Grandma's watching.
and okay i know it's not like brand new news that Lydia Sum has passed )= )= )= but they were doing like a tribute thing for her and it showed a couple of old videos, and one was like her daughter performing on stage and singing a song for her. IT WAS LIKE, THE SADDDEST-ESTESTEST THING EVERRRR.
i was watching the tv for like 5 mins and started bawling so retardedly. and my Mum was just like there, doing the ironing, and looked at me all weird. "what-? it's sad- okayyyy..." and i started blowing my nose, and continued sobbing.

i don't think i've EVER slept for 16 hours in a row without waking up but i did last night. wait a sec, why the hell is the tv switched on to the Latin Grammy's. we cant even manage Mandarin, and both my brother and i dropped Italian and French the second we could. ah, Run's House. much much better.
going back sleeping 16 hours straight. yeah, the whole of this week was pretty hectic and to top it all off, my bio teacher decided on a class trip to fuckiing-PULAU-fuckiing-UBIN to learn about Ecology. all i bloody learnt after cycling around for 10 million hours in the heat was how unfit i actually am, and what a waste of land pulau ubin is. okay, that's unfair 'cause Outward whatever is there and i guess outdoor-ish ppl appreciate it.
whatever it is. i was full reminded of why i never liked the outdoors much, much less camping, not that i've ever been but i'm glad.
i skipped SJC's sec 1 camp, Donni's yr 8 camp and plan to continue skipping all the camps that come my way. spare me all the I LOVE CAMPS, THEY'RE A BLAST shize.

nel&i got these rollers and they're so super amazing. like normally, i'm honestly the most retarded person with hair.

like all i can do is stick a few clips on my head and hope it looks presentable.

nel, on the other hand is a freakin' genius with these things except she cant really be bothered. anyways. i got these rollers with high hopes, and they really havent let me down. amazing amazing little things.

school this yr is basically taking over my whole entire life, it's kinda sad to think about it ):

anyways, Mummy got back home last night, and Mummy+Por+Chai+I went for YamCha, again.
